Continuing Medical Education and MOC Points

The purpose of the ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2018 is to update physicians about recent advances in clinical medicine and related sciences in light of the supporting evidence and to help them revise their clinical practices to improve patient care.

The Internal Medicine Meeting is intended for all physicians involved in the practice of internal medicine. This includes general internists, hospitalists, subspecialists in internal medicine, family physicians, general practitioners, and residents and fellows in internal medicine and the subspecialties. Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students will find many sessions of interest and will benefit from the scope and depth of the program.

The American College of Physicians (ACP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The ACP designates this live educational activity, ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2018, for a maximum of 30.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 30.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.  It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
